MyBungalow ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you use our platform or make payments processed by Ethnicboost, our official payment partner.

Information We Collect

  • Booking data: name, contact details (phone, email), stay dates, bungalow identifier and related stay information you provide when booking.
  • Payment data: payment transaction identifiers and receipts. Payments are securely processed by Ethnicboost or the selected payment gateway; we do not store full card or UPI secret credentials.
  • Guest documents: ID proof images, vehicle numbers, or photos uploaded to verify guests (stored securely on our servers).
  • Device & usage data: device type, IP address, browser, and analytics data for security, fraud prevention, and product improvement.

How We Use Information

  • To confirm and manage bookings, issue receipts, and communicate booking updates or OTPs.
  • To process payments and refunds through Ethnicboost or our payment partners.
  • To provide customer support, including direct contact via phone or WhatsApp if you consent or provide contact details.
  • To improve and personalize our service, perform analytics, and detect or prevent fraud.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with verified service providers who perform services on our behalf (Ethnicboost, SMS/email providers, hosting providers, analytics and backups) and with law enforcement or regulators when required by law or to protect our rights.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical controls to protect personal data. All personal and payment-related data we store is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest where applicable. Payments are processed through PCI‑DSS compliant systems managed by Ethnicboost or the relevant payment gateway.

Retention

We retain personal data as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion of your data; note that certain records (payments, tax) may be retained for legal or accounting reasons.
