1. Free Trial Policy
- We offer a free trial period (as specified during signup) to explore our platform
- No credit card is required for the free trial (if applicable)
- You can cancel your trial at any time before it expires without being charged
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the selected subscription plan
- Once charged, the standard refund policy applies
2. Subscription Cancellation
2.1 How to Cancel

2.2 Effective Date of Cancellation
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period

- Your account will be downgraded to a free plan (if available) or deactivated after the billing period ends
2.3 Data Retention After Cancellation
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation
- You can export your data before or within 30 days of cancellation
- After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted from our servers
3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
For new customers only:
- Request a refund within 30 days of your first subscription payment
- Applies to monthly and annual subscriptions
- Full refund of your initial payment will be processed
- This guarantee applies once per customer account
3.2 Refunds for Service Issues
We may issue refunds in the following circumstances:
- Extended Downtime: If our Services are unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to issues on our end
- Billing Errors: If you were incorrectly charged or double-charged
- Feature Unavailability: If a core feature you subscribed for is unavailable for an extended period
Refunds for service issues are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our support team with details of the issue.
3.3 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:
- After the 30-day money-back guarantee period has expired
- For partial months or unused portions of your subscription
- If your account was suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms & Conditions
- For add-ons, third-party integrations, or custom development fees
- If you change your mind about using our Services after the guarantee period
- For subscriptions purchased through third-party resellers (contact the reseller directly)
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:

- Include your account email, order/invoice number, and reason for the refund request
- Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days
- If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed
5. Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the purchase
- Processing time varies by payment provider (typically 7-10 business days)
- Bank transfer refunds may take longer depending on your financial institution
- If you paid via credit/debit card, the refund will appear on your statement within 1-2 billing cycles
- Transaction fees, if any, may not be refunded
6. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades
6.1 Upgrades
- You can upgrade your plan at any time
- You will be charged the prorated difference immediately
- The new plan takes effect immediately upon payment
6.2 Downgrades
- You can downgrade your plan at any time
- The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- No refunds or credits will be issued for the difference in plan pricing
- You will continue to have access to your current plan until the billing period ends
7. Annual Subscription Policy
- Annual subscriptions are billed once per year at a discounted rate
- The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to annual subscriptions
- After 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable
- You can cancel your annual subscription, but access continues until the end of the 12-month period
- Your subscription will not auto-renew after cancellation
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank/credit card company:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
- We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve billing issues before filing a chargeback
- If a chargeback is found to be unjustified, we reserve the right to pursue recovery and terminate your account
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy and all related agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
You hereby agree that:
- Any and all disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to this policy, your use of Staymonk's Services, or any refund or cancellation matter shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts located in Surat, Gujarat, India
- You irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Surat and waive any objection to venue or inconvenient forum
- All disputes shall be governed by the substantive and procedural laws of India applicable in Surat
- The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply to this agreement
By using Staymonk's Services and accepting this policy, you expressly consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Surat courts and agree to submit to their authority in resolving any disputes.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
